Mini Review - Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Sandell
Hey peeps! I don't usually do mini-reviews...I only do them when I haven't completely finished the book. This will be my first one, and it's going to be really short...mini-reviews are only about a paragraph or so...here it goes.
Song of the Sparrow is a completely lyical, and enchanting verse novel, retelling the story of Aurthurian legend. The poetic verses that tell the story is completely breathtaking. Sandell weaves her way through a rich, magnificent tale through Elaine's authentic eyes. Beautifully written, this verse novel is a truly epic tale about legendary figures and is a completely original take on Aurthurian legend.
About the Author
Reggie is the (not so genius) mind behind The Undercover Book Lover. She's currently a sarcastic college student trying to juggle school, blogging, and her (non-existent) social life. In her spare time, she enjoys writing her not-closed-to-finished novel, photography, reading, and blogging.
