Cute colour!
I forgave my dumb ex-best friend.. he went out with my ex-boyfriend. Yes, you read that correctly.. Anyways, he flaunted it in front of me, and it really ate at me.. I finally forgave him but his other many mistakes made me have to end our friendship..

I was in a wedding for a friend and she kicked me out twice but then came crawling back asking me to be in it again. It really irked us bridesmaids (I wasn't the only one this happened to) as we had spent a lot of money on dresses.
After the wedding though she calmed down a lot. it was easy to forgive the bridezilla moments when I saw how happy she was with her new husband.
Aaaah! I love this color! Awesome contest!
I forgave my husband for breaking both of the champaine glasses that had our names engraved from our wedding. They were really special to me and I was so pissed when he broke them. But I had to remember why I loved those glasses is because they were a momentum from our wedding. And the whole reason I got married is because I love him, so I couldn't stay mad at him. Plus, he does that stupid puppy dog face when I'm mad that makes it impossible to stay mad at him. :)

I forgave my friend after she tore a page of one of my favorite books. It was an accident, so I couldn't really hold it against her! lol

I really like that color of nail polish... but I'm not from US :(
Anyway, I forgave one of my friends when... I was really mad at her because of domething she had done to me, and I mean, I was feeling our friendship was over, I was feeeling betrayed. But finally we got to talk and I understood everything and she understood everything and it turned out there was no reason for me to have to forggiver her, just because she hadn't really done anything on purpouse. So that's the story of me not forgiving, hahahaha!! XD
story... ok so this guy who i hated passionately and was a complete jerk was my lab partner for a biology class. and we (him, while i cowered behind my textbook hiding from the stupid smelly thing) were dissecting a crayfish. and he poked me in the arm with one of it's claws.
i'm still mad at him. i won't even talk to him. he won't talk to me either. lol

A good friend of my forgot my birthday. Completely forgot it. Ok I'll give him that we don't live near each other, so he wasn't around me the whole day or before to get clued in on it, but still! Have a forgiven him? about 98% so, but this part of me is still ticked about it!

After my dad passed away, I tried talking to my best-friend-at-the-time about it. I really needed someone who would just listen to what I was feeling and going through (a good supportive friend). Well, she hateful tells me that she isn't going to pity me just because my dad died. I was floored. I didn't want pity, I wanted a friend.
Over the years, she's tried to email me and even freakily tried to come up to me after my graduation. I don't want to be her friend again, because if she was hateful about that, she wasn't my real friend to begin with.

There is one major person in my life right now that I haven't forgiven for a lot of things. It's my father, so there is a huge list of things that have hurt my through my entire life. And, currently, I can't forgive him because the hurting is still going on. But I hope one day that I can.

I would love love love to enter this contest. Thanks for the chance!
A most recent example would be my brother-in-law. About a week ago I was over at his and my sister's house for a visit and our kids were all playing in the other room. The kids got a bit wild, which stressed my BIL out and he ended up blowing up at me. Nothing physical mind you, but it was awful. Lots of screaming, shouting, and downright nastiness. He made some really low blow comments about my kids and my parenting style which were completely uncalled for and off the mark. They were also completely untrue even in his eyes. Then I was more or less told to get out of his house and to never come back.
Of course, in the moment it was brutal, raw, and terribly upsetting. I bawled my eyes out after I'd scooped up my kids and hit the road. I knew inside he didn't mean what he said, but that didn't make a difference in that exact moment. After a bit though I talked to my sister, and she apologized on his behalf (knowing it was probably best if we didn't speak directly so soon after). I knew he was sorry and it was just one of those things. No one is perfect and we all have our breaking point. That day just happened to be his. Fun? No. Painless? Definitely not. Over and forgiven? Completely. I love my sister, her husband, and their kiddos. Life wouldn't be the same without them. We all make mistakes. I just choose to forgive and forget. Granted I haven't forgotten yet, but ask me in a couple of years and I won't remember. Guarantee it. ;)

I'm VERY bad at forgiving. I've been mad at people and couldn't even remember why but I knew I was supposed to be mad so I still wouldn't forgive. I know that's really bad but I can't help it I hold grudges.

I forgave my best friend for asking out the guy I wanted to ask to sadie hawkins even though she knew I wanted to ask him. I realized that friendship was a lot more important than some guy coming between us and just knew in the future to watch what I said to her about the boys I was interested in!

I'm actually really bad at holding a grudge. But there is one thing that I've never completely forgiven.
When I was around one, my mom had a stillborn.(That's when the baby dies when it's in the womb)
Well, my mom became very depressed, so much that she could barely function. Well here I am one year old, and needing a Mommy. My sisters ended up taking care of me, and we've never had a close relationship because of it. I've started to forgive her for it, because as I've gotten older I realized it wasn't her fault that he died. and we've become closer. Not as close as I'd hope, but I don't think I will ever be able to forgive her COMPLETELY. I love her, and I love my baby brother in heaven, but it hurts too much.

Cool contest!!! I have tried to forgive my dad for walking out on our family and not paying child support. My sisters and I grew up with very little and my mom always worked a few jobs to support us without his help. He stiffed her for about $100,000 as we were growing up. He didn't bother to contact us very often, and when he would send a random birthday present, it smelled like smoke and would be the wrong size. I last saw him when I was about 13. When I was all grown up, married, and had my first daughter, I tried to "be the better person" (the saying I _try_ to live by) and contacted him. The result was eh... he did respond but nothing really came of it. So have I forgiven him? I don't really know. Probably not. Having two children of my own, I can't really imagine how anyone could walk away from them. But to be honest, it's been a very long time, and I just don't think about him much at all anymore.
Great contest! Anyone is welcome to enter mine, too! I'm giving away two YA books and a movie...

I almost always forgive people pretty easily when they do anything to me. The only time I usually hold a grudge is when someone does something to someone in my family or to one of my best friends.

Sometimes my best friend says things she doesn't mean. She is one of those that speaks before she thinks. I forgive her all the time. Sometimes she doesn't even ask to be forgiven.

I forgave my kitty for tearing up my brand new down pillows. I guess it was my own fault - cats + dead bird feathers don't mix. Amusing as it was, took hours to clean. Some things a vaccuum does not work well on.
Love the nail polish color

I forgave my dad for cutting off the power to fix the stove without giving me warning so I could save the new book I started to write six chapters in....it still stings a bit. LOL. I didn't do anything out of my way to forgive him, I just said it was alright and told him not to feel so bad. Because it really was my fault for not saving when I knew I should have. I just get lost in my writing and sometimes forget to.

One of my past friends constantly put her nose where it didn't belong. She tried her best to come between me and my now-husband, didn't work! The last straw was when she divorced her husband. I am no longer friends with her, but have remained really good friends with her now ex-husband. Let's just say my life has been way more simple without her drama in it. An example where I could not forgive.
