Author Uncovered: Jenny Han (Author Interview)
Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't posted for almost a week! I'm moving houses and taking my PSATS (hehe...I'm starting early with that). But anyway, that's no excuse, so here's a quick interview with the wonderful Jenny Han!
Her books:
How does it feel like, knowing your books are on a bookshelf in a bookstore?
Knowing my books are on bookshelves feels crazy, amazing, and like a dream come true. It's such an honor to write books for teens.
What's your typical, 'authorly' day?
My typical day is eating breakfast, checking email and blogs, then heading to the cafe to write.
What's your favorite drink?
My favorite kind of drink is Cherry Coke. And lemonade. And sweet tea. I like a lot of drinks, all sweet!
What are your ten, most favorite things?
My ten favorite things, in no particular order: fresh laundry smell, sour cherry gummies, my dog Jack, pink nail polish, the color pink in general, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, vampires in general, muffins, plaid, and teacups.
Do you have any upcoming books? Anything that you're working on?
My next book is the second book in the Pretty series. It's called, It's Not Summer Without You.
That's it! It's Not Summer Without You sounds like an amazing title!
Peace, Love, and the PSATS,

Hey, I've been wondering where you've got to Reggie. Glad to hear that you're just busy and not ill or anything. Short but sweet interview. Think actually removing oneself from the distraction of the internet must certainly help an author focus on their writing.
Thanks for the awesome interview. I hope everything is going alright with changing houses. And the PSATS (even though I'm not entirely sure what that is).
Nice interview, thank you! :)
And best of luck on the PSATs. Our school requires them, so we all took them last Wednesday, and they weren't that bad. And hope your moving is going smoothly!
I can't wait to read It's No Summer Without You. I LOVED the first book in the series so I'm super excited. Great interview! :D
Cute interview Reg!
