Can't follow Read This Book via Google Friend Connect 'coz the blog hasn't got a "Follower" button. I do subscribe via email though. Am not sure if that count(?), so did'nt tick off the box for Read This Book and didn't count it towards my extra entries points.

Precious April 1, 2010 at 4:02 PM

I had a really hard time choosing between Scholastic and Harperteen. But since Shiver showed up almost on time in the bookstore here, I'm hoping Linger will too. And eventually I chose Harperteen. Gah. What a very hard decision to make. My head hurt.

Re: The Living God Eternity Forever!
We Support Christian Publishing Houses, but whom do They Support?
Businesses are businesses to make large sum of money every week, month, and years, to turn a profit! That is the main themes proclaimed in the human minds today! And that is the model for them all as they define their businesses. Right? What about Christian publishing houses?
• Zondervan-Harper Collins owned
• Thomas Nelson-Inter Media Partners owned
• Random House Partners-Murdoch News-Corporation owned
• Baker Group-Zondervan partners owned
• Tyndale-Tyndale Foundation-owned, and many others you may be able to find out in our modern society today with high shareholders profits. It is our Christendom world today.
We have a broad list of Christian publishing organizations to which we need to address this issue. I am mindful that most of us have lost the sense of the Great Commission in the book of [Matthews 28: 28-30]: The Great Commission that we Christians need to accomplish before Jesus Christ returns to earth to establish His everlasting kingdom. We need to provide a better word or language that sound to the world that we mean what we say and practice. Social cognition, social perception, and social influence have emphasis of human nature perspective that drives us out of truth! Jesus Christ is the ultimate Judge on earth. There are various Christian social services that other Christian publishers claim to support it is not helping the poor in spirit at all! Christian fiction books are not helping
For example; The Seed Company, an affiliate of Wycliffe Bible Translators that trains people from minority languages to translate the Bible into their own native language, they feel proud that they are true Christian today. But when one looks their claim does not fulfill their function. Jesus Christ, including the disciples did not own a bank account or accumulate property wealth for them: Yet, Jesus Christ came to His own property the earth! Why then he could sleep under a tree? When Christian publishing houses are truly willing to publish good-quality Christian books, we would live in a better world today! Unfortunately, that does not seem to be right in the sight of modern Christendom world today. Jesus Christ preached perfect and quality teaching, not so many who would understand his teachings. They were confronted with severe dilemmas just as we are confronted with same dilemmas today.
The Living God Eternity Forever! Brings the good news into the world, but who is willing to publish it in the Christian publishing house? I encourage you to first read Chapter one. Read it with care. Take time to focus about the narrator point-view. Jesus Christ is indeed the ultimate Judge on Earth. Often times, we feel that we are too far from the Lord, we still hears him calling us. But those simple things that we once knew, the memories draw us back. We must confess that we are blessed.
Sincerely,
Athanasius-John Nkomo
